With more than 1.6 billion EUR in investments, Croatia is booming with new hotel developments. In the last year, 33 hotels of 4* and 5* category were built or renovated – which brought 3500 rooms of the higher category to the market. Here are a few hand-picked hotels, that we are excited about.
Amadria park hotel, Zagreb
Opening in autumn 2018, Amadria Park hotel is opening at a prestigious location in the centre of Zagreb. Grand, early 20th century building features 112 rooms and carries eclectic style and it reflects charm from Secession and Art Deco eras.
Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik, Dubrovnik
One of the oldest hotels in the Adriatic is operating under Hilton brand name since 2005. Renovated in 2018, the Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik now offers 149 accommodation units. in addition to hotel rooms, also the hotel lobby and bar were renovated to keep the Grand imperial style, typical for the hotel.
Remisens hotel Albatros, Dubrovnik
In April 2018, the Remisens Hotel Albatros opened near the town of Cavtat, only 6 km from the Dubrovnik airport. The 4* property renovated its 306 hotel rooms, offering sea view and grand comfort. The Albatros hotel also features three meeting rooms with the capacity of 220 people.
Courtyard by Marriott, Split
First Marriot hotel in Croatia is expected to be built in 2019 in Split, as a part of the highest building in Croatia, the Dalmatia tower. The hotel will have 190 rooms and two congress halls with capacity for 150 and 250 delegates. Due to a special shape of the building, each room will have sea view.
