Event planners will be delighted with the opening of the luxury Intercontinetal hotel 5* in Ljubljana, renovation of the renowned congress hotel Golf 4* in Bled and new conference capacities of the boutique hotel Cubo 4*.

The first five-star hotel opening in Ljubljana

A new Intercontinental hotel is scheduled to open in the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana by September 2017. Spanning on 23,000 square meters and over 20 floors, it will feature 165 contemporary and elegant rooms equipped with high quality furniture and modern design. The Intercontinental hotel Ljubljana will offer a larger ballroom accommodating up to 300 delegates in theatre style, two smaller break-out rooms for up to 10 guests in boardroom style and two boardrooms on 19th floor for up to 30 guests each in theatre style. A la carte restaurant with show kitchen will be located on the 20th floor, granting beautiful panoramic views. Complementing the gastronomic offer of consultant Michelin star chef Alfredo Russo, a trendy bar and an outdoor terrace will offer additional event venues.

A new small hotel in Ljubljana city centre

In the urban part of Ljubljana, a brand new hotel opened its doors in a hi-rise building originally built in 1938. With its tempting constructed ground floor and staircase, it ranks among the most beautiful examples of hi-rise buildings in the capital. The building has preserved its original charm and today hosts the Urban hotel Ljubljana. The hotel offers 32 rooms, which can be used as a twin or double. It also features four multipurpose meeting rooms, hosting from 15 to 80 attendees. This small boutique property can be hired exclusively for your incentive, conference or special event group.

Modern conference halls in Hotel Cubo

The boutique hotel Cubo enhanced its meeting industry offer with two completely renovated conference halls, accommodating 48 and 17 guests respectively. Following trends in the meeting design, the interconnected conference rooms can be easily re-arranged to suit different types of meetings and events. Event planners can thus take advantage of this open style format and re-organize the meeting space to fit your group staying in Ljubljana.

Renovation of Rikli Balance Hotel in Bled

To prove its reputation as a renowned congress hotel in Bled, the Bled Hotel Golf 4* will undergo an extensive renovation of its hotel rooms, reception and lobby. The hotel rooms will reflect local traditions and customs, using natural materials and providing all the necessary comfort for the business guests. The hotel Golf will open its doors in April 2017, while the reception will be renovated in autumn.

Brand new hotel Cliff with stunning views of the Adriatic coast

In the heart of the Slovenian coast, between the towns of Izola and Portorož, a new hotel opened its doors with beautiful views over the Adriatic coastline. The new Cliff hotel lies in the Strunjan nature park, on a slope about 100 metres above the sea level. The four-star property features 16 deluxe rooms, a suite and an apartment. It also offers a multipurpose meeting room suitable for up to 50 delegates attending conferences, seminars, trainings or special events.
